Legacy Gifts

A planned gift is the most personal gift that you could give, and the Belvedere Tiburon Library Foundation appreciates your consideration in making a bequest or other estate gift.

The Foundation can provide expert assistance regarding charitable planned giving, customized for your philanthropic and financial goals.

Here are some of the ways you can leave a legacy to the Library:

Include a bequest in your will or living trust

Give life insurance

Make the Library the contingent beneficiary of all or a portion of a life insurance policy. If you have a policy that you no longer need for its intended purpose, consider giving it to the Library as an immediate gift.

Make a gift that gives back

Life income plans can allow one to supplement their income and/or that of another person, benefit from significant tax savings and also make a gift to the Library. With a life income gift, you may be able to:

Increase your income and/or that of another person

Choose secure fixed payments or payments that may increase over time

Avoid or reduce capital gains tax

Claim a significant income tax deduction

Make the gift you wish you could
