Reading Buddies
Read to a teen volunteer for 30 minutes to practice reading fluency.
Open to independent readers entering Grade 1 and up.

NEW THIS YEAR!
Readers ages 8-12 will receive a paper reading “passport” during the first week of Summer Reading.
Each week will feature a different genre or story type, in keeping with our overall “Unearth a Story” theme.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Read one book from each week’s book list to get your passport stamped every week.
- Gather five stamps to win a special prize at the end of the summer.
- Gather all seven stamps to win TWO special prizes!
