Stem Walls Are Poured
The concrete for the stem walls was successfully poured today from 22 concrete ready-mix trucks and placed with a ninety-foot pump boom by 12 well-trained construction workers. A milestone toward completion of the Expansion foundation system.
The next steps involve the stripping of the forms and placement of the forms for the upper concrete slab, which will be the at the floor level of the existing Library building. That concrete pour is expected in mid-May.
Exterior site-work will also begin in May in the area behind the Library building, which will be improved with the new parking lot and relocated Zelinsky park.
