THE Gallery actively supports the role of art in building community by showcasing Bay Area artists and providing relevant programming that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and engagement.

Current Exhibit

Mark Making:  Dots, Lines, Textures

Exhibition Dates: Sept. 17, 2026 – Nov. 11, 2026

Artists employ techniques to create unique visual elements. Brushstrokes on canvas, dashes in ink or graphite, or incised lines – all just strokes that are theirs. These shapes and patterns can not only create rhythm but also drive the viewer’s eye. While some dabs of paint, brush marks, and patterning are conscious, much mark-making is accidental or unconscious. Bring on your strokes.
