Jon Haveman, Ph.D., is Executive Director of the National Economic Education Delegation and a Principal at Marin Economic Consulting, an economic research and consulting firm specializing in entrepreneurship and local economic development issues. Dr. Haveman is an expert on regional economies and local economic development, particularly the Bay Area economy. He is also widely considered one of California’s leading experts on the economics of seaports, goods movement, and international trade policy.
