Learn all about the wildflowers of the Tiburon Peninsula, from common blooms to rare gems, and get ready to enjoy the spring bloom in our local natural areas.

The Tiburon Peninsula’s grasslands and woodlands are alive with an impressive number of wildflowers, including many rare species.

Join Shannon Burke of Marin County Parks for a talk on the rare and common plants found here, the clever ways they attract pollinators, and the fascinating methods they use to spread their seeds.

Learn which blooms to look for this spring: the mariposa lily and jewelflower appear late (end of May/early June), while many other flowers start brightening the landscape in April.

Get the inside scoop so you’ll know what to watch for when you head outdoors to enjoy this season’s wildflower show.
