Cars: The Making of American Culture with Tom O’Neill
Gear up for the Tiburon Classic Car Show with a look at how cars shaped American society — especially teenage culture — after World War II and through the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s.
This program isn’t about the nuts and bolts of cars — it’s about how cars changed the United States.
Tom O'Neill is the Founder and Director of the Tiburon Classic Car Show, as well as the Co-Founder of the Marin County Car Appreciation and Preservation Program (CAPP). CAPP is a career technical education initiative that trains teens in both cutting-edge automotive repair and the fine art of restoring vintage, classic, and exotic vehicles.
