Meaning of Home: A Photography Exhibition
Opening Reception
These photographs are inspired by what home means to each artist. Images may depict a physical space, but also embrace representations of internal narratives about home or portrayals of sanctuary.
The photographs in this exhibition, Meaning of Home, were inspired by the broadest sense of what home means. Some images depict a physical space but others fully embrace representations of internal narratives about home, metaphors or portrayals of sanctuary. In addition, some photographs profile loved ones, a sense of belonging or the familiar and nostalgic.
The Gallery will present a collective window into selected photographers’ “homes,” from the physical to broadly construed personal takes. These photographs show us where they most feel or felt seen as “home.”
