Meet Marin artist Deborah Oropallo as she discusses her mixed-media work from her current exhibition, "Moving Pictures," at the di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art.
Deborah Oropallo, a Marin artist of national renown, will share her creative journey with us by showcasing her monographic survey exhibition, “Moving Pictures”, currently at the di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art.
Trained as a painter, Oropallo’s artistic evolution incorporates varied mixed media techniques in the development of her photo montages and video.
The evening’s talk will include social justice video montages, notable collaborations as well as her own personal narrative.
The Anderson Collection, the San Francisco Museum of Fine Arts, the Whitney, and both S.F. MOMA and N.Y. MOMA own her works.
