Irit Schaffer, Author of Good Blood - A Journey of Healing
Physical therapist, healer and author discusses her story.
Join us in hearing a powerful story of resilience and healing and learn how to connect to the inner light, strength and wisdom that helps transcend personal pain and intergenerational trauma.
You are invited to a special presentation by healer, teacher, and Marin County author, Irit Schaffer.
As a child, Irit's father spoke of the "good blood" that allowed his wife and himself to survive the Holocaust. Irit's family memoir, Good Blood - A Journey of Healing, reveals the author's quest for wisdom and healing based on her father's words and her exploration of compassion and forgiveness in the shadow of intergenerational trauma. Through her journey, Irit developed and nurtured her own powers of resilience and healing, which she shares through her practice as a physical therapist concerned with healing the body, mind, and spirit, as well as through her writing and teaching.
Irit's journey uncovered a unique voice of wisdom revealing the mysteries of the healing powers within us, the resiliency of the human body and spirit, and the existence of light in every situation that helps us overcome and transcend any obstacle.
