Caregivers deserve care, too. Author Roy Remer shares a mindful approach to caregiving, exploring presence, compassion, and resilience while caring for yourself and others.

In his new book, Zen Caregiving, Roy Remer, Executive Director of the Zen Caregiving Project, offers practical advice, emotional support, and spiritual solace for those caring for seriously ill loved ones or patients.

Roy Remer is Executive Director of the Zen Caregiving Project in San Francisco (formerly known as Zen Hospice Project) and lead creator of the Mindful Caregiving Education curriculum. He brings more than two decades of experience in end-of-life care, education, and compassionate service. His background spans bedside caregiving, nonprofit leadership, compassion training, and guiding transformative wilderness-based rites of passage. He is also a dedicated practitioner in the Soto Zen tradition and a student at San Francisco Zen Center.
