Donations are accepted by credit card, check or online!

Donating appreciated stocks, bonds, or securities is an easy way to make an important contribution that helps to support the mission of the Belvedere Tiburon Library. Oftentimes donors realize tax benefits for gifts of this kind. View the instructions form here.

Many companies match employee charitable contributions as well as volunteer hours. Please check with your company when making a gift.

If you are age 70 ½ and above you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA completely free of federal income tax (up to $100,000 per person per year). Giving directly from your IRA to a qualified charity will count towards your required minimum distribution and won’t increase your adjusted gross income, possibly subjecting you income to a higher level of taxation and increasing your Medicare costs. It’s a powerful way to make a big impact this year.

Bequests and other types of estate gifts provide vital support for the Library’s many services and programs.

Legacy gifts will make a lasting impact on our provision of services, supporting our many different collections, free public programs, and for our many Children’s and Teen programs. Read more.

We gratefully accept sponsorships for our annual events. Sponsorships include cash gifts as well as in-kind contributions such as gift certificates and other donations—and are a great way to visibly support the Library.
