Community Service for Teens
Opportunity for Teen Volunteers at Shakespeare in the Park
Lend a helping hand at the Library!
Teen volunteers are needed to help out at the upcoming Shakespeare in the Park event!
Middle and high school students who want to earn community service credit for school or who want to volunteer at the Library for a fun experience can sign up to be a "helping hand."
The first step (if you have not yet done so) is to complete the Teen Volunteer Application.
Next, sign up for the shift you can attend at 12-2 pm or 2-4 pm. If you want to earn more than two hours of community service, you may sign up for two shifts or simply stay longer.
If your plans change, make sure to cancel your registration so that waitlisted students can participate.
Tasks include:
- Setting up chairs
- Prepping and putting out snacks
- Staffing snack table during the performance
- Cleaning up and putting chairs back after performance
