Teen Book Club

Book Club for Middle and High School Students

Sat Feb 24, 2024
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Do you love to read and talk about books? Join Teen Book Club for monthly meetings.

Teens in middle and high school are invited to sign up for the monthly reading group to talk about popular Young Adult (YA) books.

Copies can be checked out at the Library and are usually available as e-books, audiobooks, or in print. Ask a librarian for help finding a copy to borrow.

Book Club meetings are held on the last Saturday of the month (except for holidays), followed by Teen Movie & Pizza Night (sign up separately for the movie program please).

Each month's selected title will be posted.

January's book selection is Eragon by Christopher Paolini, the first book of the Inheritance series (509 pages).

This book is great for middle and high school epic fantasy lovers. Grab a copy now before winter break so you have time to finish the entire book!

Summary:  In Aagaesia, a fifteen-year-old boy of unknown lineage called Eragon finds a mysterious stone that weaves his life into an intricate tapestry of destiny, magic, and power, peopled with dragons, elves, and monsters.
