Every Second Counts: Learn to Save a Life
When an emergency strikes, minutes matter. Our local first responders are incredible, but what you do before they arrive can make all the difference.
Join us for a free, hands-on workshop led by Dr. Tom Cromwell of the Marin Medical Reserve Corps, who has trained over 2,000 Marin residents in essential lifesaving skills.
In this 2-hour class, you'll learn how to:
- Perform chest compression CPR
- Stop bleeding with "Stop the Bleed" techniques
- Use an AED (automatic external defibrillator)
- Administer Narcan (naloxone) for opioid overdose
- Perform the Heimlich maneuver for choking
- Open an airway
No prior medical experience is needed. This class is designed for people of all ages and abilities. Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to learn skills that could save a life!
